Main Purpose of Job
This position is primarily responsible for assembling a monthly MPT2 program schedule in Protrack, creating and providing daily broadcast record schedules to Master Control, providing pre-logs to Master Control and monitoring and maintaining server storage capacity.
POSITION DUTIES

Provide Master Control with daily satellite uplink/downlink record schedules

Collates program data from various sources to assemble and issue the monthly MPT2 grid schedule

Create aircheck reports for pledge programming

Monitor and maintain storage capacity

Schedules refeeds of programming due to updated program information or satellite or equipment malfunctions

Provide pre-logs to Master Control, verifying program availability prior to air

Department liaison with Viewer Services to answer programming related viewer inquiries and complaints

Provide Protrack training to Viewer Services as needed

Create aircheck reports for pledge programming

Check MyPBS for daily program information and updates

Order office supplies and main contact for printer/copier repair

Provide backup support for other Broadcast Coordinators as needed
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Related experience in a broadcast environment may be considered in lieu of a degree.
SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS
Three years broadcasting traffic experience. Experience with a variety of software programs, spreadsheets and databases essential.

Must be able to lift 25 pounds
