Promote the utilization of prison made products and services to government agencies, institutions, non-profit charitable, civiv educational, fraternal and religious organizations within the geographic boundaries of the State of Maryland.

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for initiating appointments and making cold calls to State Agencies and Non-Profits in an assigned area to sell MCE product and services. Extensive follow-up will be required in an effort to initiate and negotiate the sale of products.

Education: Graduation from a standard High School or possession of a State High School Equivalence Certificate.

Experience: Two years' experience involving Direct Sales or a related field.

Notes: Applicants may substitute college education from an accredited college or university at the rate of one year of college for one year of work experience.

Possession of a valid class C Driver’s License.

The incumbent in this position is a member of a covered bargaining unit and will be required to pay a bi-weekly service fee to the exclusive representative of the bargaining unit.
