Introduction

Casino Compliance Supervisors are responsible for overseeing casino compliance officers and assisting them in the performance of all compliance duties as they relate to Maryland Lottery licensed gaming facilities.

Main Purpose of Job

Casino Compliance Supervisors will supervise casino compliance officers and assist them in the performance of all compliance related duties at Maryland Lottery licensed gaming facilities.

POSITION DUTIES

The incumbent for this position will:

1. Certify revenue from the Video Lottery Terminals (VLT).

2. Receive and resolve complaints from the public.

3. Receive and verify shipments of State-owned equipment.

4. Monitor the facility’s internal controls, security and surveillance and ensure the responsible gaming plans  are adhered to. 

5. Supervise employees and vendors; maintain staffing schedules, review time and other details of the employees and operation.

6. Perform licensing functions and ensure the integrity of the VLT gaming operation.

7. In addition,  the employee in this position is responsible for conducting investigations when warranted.

8. This position reports to the Casino Compliance Manager.

MINIMUM EDUCATION OR GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

Experience: Three years experience in administrative or professional work.

Notes:

1. Candidates may substitute additional experience in administrative staff or professional work on a year-for-year basis for the required education.

2. Candidates may substitute additional graduate level education at an accredited college or university at the rate of 30 semester credit hours for each year of the required experience.

LIMITATIONS ON SELECTION

 This recruitment is limited to the employees at Rocky Gap Casino.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.
