Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to ensure that the grounds, buildings, building contents and transportation services are maintained in a manner that is conducive to the treatment of patients at Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education: Completion of eighth grade.

Experience: Five years experience in licensed stationary engineering including four years of responsibility for assigning, reviewing and approving the work of other building maintenance or building construction workers.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

1. Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
