Main Purpose of Job

This position involves total responsibility for the direct supervision and coordination of the maintenance storeroom for Spring Grove Hospital Center. Duties for this position includes direct preparation of requisitions, record reports, maintenance stock levels, receiving, storing, issuing, and inventory of supplies. This position receives general supervision from a highter level supply officer or designated administrator. This position may supervise lower level supply clerks and is emergency essential.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience: Three years of experience in receiving, storing, and issuing supplies, materials, or equipment in a storeroom, warehouse, or other supply storage facility.

Note: Additional experience as described above may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required education.

BARGAINING UNIT STATUS

The incumbent in this position is a member of a covered bargaining unit and will be required to pay a bi-weekly service fee to the exclusive representative of the bargaining unit.
