DHMH - Office of Preparedness and Response, Baltimore, MD.

Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to monitor budget and expenditures for the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Cooperative Agreements and it's Sub Awardees. This position reports to the Agency Grants Specialist Supervisor for the Office of Preparedness and Response.  This position provides administrative support by providing grants management services, managing procurement, preparing budget reports and maintaining records. In addition, the person in this position is considered as essential personnel.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education: Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

Experience: Three years of experience in grant evaluation and monitoring or budget preparation, presentation and execution.

Notes:

1. Applicants may substitute graduate education in accounting, business administration, economics, finance, political science or public administration at a rate of 30 semester hours for each year of the required experience.

2. Applicants may substitute additional experience as defined above on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
