Instructional Content Developer

Introduction

The Education Department at Maryland Public Television is accepting applications for an Instructional Content Developer on a continuing basis to build an applicant pool for anticipated position vacancies. These positions will be filled as needed and are contingent on available funding. Applications will remain active and on file for one year following receipt and will be considered as openings occur.

POSITION DUTIES

Responsible for designing and developing curricula that is aligned with specific state and/or national standards. The developer will work with MPT personnel to ensure that content is developmentally appropriate, of high-quality, and meets the specific objective.

MINIMUM EDUCATION OR GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Education or other related field and a minimum of two years teaching and/or curriculum development experience.

SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS

Content areas of need include, but are not limited to: Math, Science, English/Language Arts, Technology, STEM, Social Studies.
