NATURE OF WORK

A fully experienced senior attorney who has demonstrated the highest level of competence.

EXAMPLES OF WORK

Acts as supervisor of counsel, general counsel, principal counsel, division chief, executive associate and senior associate attorneys general and acts as personal advisor to the Attorney General.

Assigned all the duties and responsibilities of a general counsel but at this level such duties and responsibilities extend to all State agencies, along with the supervisory responsibilities of the same level as an agency head since they extend to all agencies.

Each of the two Deputies handles certain agencies and divisions and each is responsible for administrative matters for their respective agencies and divisions.

These positions have a great degree of freedom and broad responsibility in their supervisory and advisor capacities.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
