The Loudoun County Health Department is seeking a full time Public Health Nurse/RN to work in a fast paced, multicultural and challenging clinic. Work schedule primarily consists of weekdays, Monday-Friday, with rare weekend and evening hours. Position provides professional nursing care in a variety of clinics including family planning, communicable and sexually transmitted disease and immunizations. Must possess effective verbal, written, interpersonal and physical assessment skills and be computer literate. Preceptorship orientation provided. Requires graduation from an NLN accredited College or University with a Bachelor's in Nursing and a minimum of three years related experience. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or eligible. Ability to wear N-95 mask required. (Applicants that have an Associates in nursing along with 4 years experience, may be considered for this position at a lower grade).

Masters in Nursing and experience in Public or Community Health preferred. Must have CPR certification or obtain within first three months of employment. Bi-lingual Spanish highly desirable.
