The Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services is currently seeking qualified applicants for regular and substitute positions with the County After School Activities (CASA) program. Positions are available at various sites in the County for the 2009-2010 school year. Duties include assisting in implementing after school activities for children in grades K-5. Regular positions work Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., according to the school calendar. Substitute positions are also available and allow for a more flexible schedule.

Requires a High School diploma. Virginia State Licensing requires additional experience supervising children during recreational or educational activities.

Must have certification in First Aid, CPR for adult, infant and child, and negative TB test prior to beginning work.

Successful candidate will undergo a criminal background and CPS checks.
