Temporary on-call position with the Department of Mental Retardation Services. This position will work in Residential Services in the 24 hr. Group Homes and the In-Home Support program. Primary responsibilities are to provide assistance and training with daily living activities with emphasis placed on the highest level of client participation in all aspects of community life, including home, work, family and the development of meaningful relationships. The hours include daytime and evening with a priority need for persons available to work weekend and overnight shifts.

Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, special education, social work or related field.

Six months related experience preferred.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of criminal background, driving record check and TB test. Must have a valid driver's license in Virginia or regional state of residence.
