Summary Statement

These positions will assist the Aquatic Facility Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising of Seasonal waterpark staff, maintain records of aquatics staff certifications and assist with new employee orientation for aquatics staff. Performs daily custodial and maintenance duties to ensure a safe, clean aquatic facility, reconfigure pool for activities and events and assists with special events. Observes and enforces pool rules and regulations. Assists with clerical duties, including scheduling, timesheets, and maintaining required aquatic facility records. Work is performed under various weather conditions.  Applicants must be available to work weekends, evenings and holidays as scheduled to meet facility needs.

  • Assists with schedules, assigns and reviews the work of seasonal waterpark staff.
  • Assists with plans and coordinates maintenance, services and fiscal administration to ensure all areas and facilities of the waterpark are functioning according to established standards.
  • Ensures public safety through regular inspection of waterpark facilities.
  • Maintains and compiles fiscal and narrative records and reports.
  • Serve as liaison with the public, clients, staff and others to exchange information and explain services, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Perform appropriate rescue and medical services as required.
  • Maintains and compiles fiscal and narrative records and reports.
  • Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability and good communication skills.
  •  Other duties as assigned.

  1. Six month aquatics experience or facility management, working with the public, groups and organizations.
  2. Six month experience with experience in cash handling, writing receipts.
  3. Six months customer service experience.

Conditions of Hire

Applicants for a lifeguard must possess a valid Lifeguard Certification OR the applicant must agree as a requirement of employment to possess one within 30 days of employment.

Applicants must possess a current CPR/First Aid Certification.
