Summary Statement

The Administrative Manager is the chief administrator for the Investigative Section for the Division of Long Term Care Residents Protection (DLTCRP).  The incumbent is the liaison with IRM and the Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.

Essential Functions

  • Provides professional expertise, support and guidance to Investigative Supervisors and Investigators.
  • Monitors and maintains control of the Criminal Background Check, Adult Abuse Registry and the Incident Referral Center investigative functions.
  • Manages the Adult Abuse Registry (AAR) and Certified Nursing Registry hearing requests, hearing arrangements, correspondence and Attorney General consultations.
  • Processes, tracks and handles Freedom of Information Act requests and subpoenas for information

Job Requirements

Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice or a related field.
  2. Five years experience in planning, developing, coordinating and implementing investigations.
  3. Five years experience in civil, criminal or administrative proceedings.
  4. Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
  5. Must be mission-driven, strategic, collaborative, and exhibit the ability to actualize goals and achieve results within a complex organization
