Summary Statement

The seasonal position will sell park permits, provide customer service by explaining regulations, answering visitor requests, needs and complaints, and providing information about the park and surrounding areas. Responsibilities may include completing daily deposits, verifies fee booth revenue and paperwork, creating associated revenue reports; completing school bus exemption forms and follow-up paper work, running an automated sales program, tracking supplies and inventory, and other clerical duties as required.  Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Essential Functions

  • Collecting appropriate fees and accountability for handling of money.
  • Serve as liaison with the public, clients, staff and others to exchange information and explain services, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Maintains and compiles fiscal and narrative records and reports.
  • Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability and good communication skills.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and have fun.

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Seasonal Administrative Support

Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas.

  1. Six months customer service experience.
  2. Six months experience in cash handling, writing receipts.
  3. Six months experience in using standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets or databases.
