This position provides support for Canal District Parts Room receiving and preparing orders of parts and supplies to the automotive and heavy equipment shops, as well as the area maintenance yards. Duties include answering phones, contact with suppliers, vendors, and agency employees; receiving inventory, unloading and stocking; pulling inventory and preparing paperwork for distribution; recordkeeping of inventory (includes input into computer system), reconciling of sales orders, invoices and requisitions; operation of trucks, pallet jacks, fork lift, etc.
