As administrative management, the scope of work at this level is broader than at the lower levels in the training/education series. Specifically, positions are responsible for planning, developing, and implementing strategic policy at a large facility, division, department or state level regarding training/education/organizational development. Positions report to an administrative or technical superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Training/Education Administrator I Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
As a condition of hire you must possess a valid driver's license (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving).
As a condition of hire the successful applicant must be able to report to their duty station within one half hour to provide timely response to vehicle or operational emergencies.
Applicants who meet the job requirements for the position, and who are made a conditional offer of employment, must agree as a requirement of employment to obtain the Fire Instructor II and Nationally Registered EMT certificate within one year of employment.
