The incumbent functions as Resource and Development Administrator for the Office of Child Care Licensing and is responsible for the development, revisions, and promulgation of DELACARE regulations including family and center providers for Early Care and Education, Child Placing Agencies, Day and Residential Treatment, and the Criminal History Unit. The development and revision of regulations requires extensive research on best practices and work with a broad group of professional stakeholders, including facilitating public hearings and integrating research and comments into regulations.
Selective Requirements must be met in addition to the job requirements. Applicants who do not possess the selective requirement will not be qualified.
Three years experience in child development.
