This supervisory position is responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of Fort Delaware State Park, Fort Du Pont State Park, and the Port Penn Nature Center. This includes a full time staff which is an Assistant Superintendent, Park Naturalist and Physical Plant Maintenance Trades Mechanic along with seasonal and volunteer staff. In addition, the incumbent at Fort Delaware will operate a motor boat in order to navigate to the water bound park.

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Park Superintendent
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
As a condition of hire, the applicant must show proof of boater education (a state-issued card or NASBLA-approved certificate) or successfully complete a NASBLA approved boating safety course within 90 days of employment.
As a condition of hire you must possess a valid driver's license (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving).
