The incumbent will plan, implement and manage all aspects of a statewide HIV/AIDS surveillance and epidemiology program. Duties: developing surveillance systems to assess levels of disease and impact, producing data to prioritize public health resources and for use in tracking trends, evaluating HIV control and prevention efforts, managing expanded HIV surveillance efforts to include the Medical Monitoring Project, collaborating with medical facilities and physician offices on investigation and reporting requirements, and supervising eight personnel.
