FIRE FIGHTER RECRUIT (Exam # 14-8137-01)
CANDIDATE ORAL INTERVIEW PREPARATION and INSTRUCTIONS

Read this notice carefully. This notice is to advise you of the following next steps in the process. Individuals who do not follow these instructions will be disqualified from continuing further in the process.
- All test takers will be notified of their written test results via e-mail notification within the next two weeks. Only those individuals who passed the written test will be invited to the next step of the process, the oral panel interview/test.
- The oral panel interviews are scheduled to take place October 22nd through October 28th, 2014. Please make arrangements now to be available during this week of interviews. You will be provided instructions in your notice. Please note that reschedules will be limited.
- You are required to bring with you to your interview proof that you met the announced requirements. You must submit a copy (copies will not be made for you at the test site – you must bring a clear***, (easy to read) copy of these documents to leave at the interview site) of the following documents in the following order:
1. Copy of your valid Driver’s License (verification of identity / age)
2. Copy of your High School Diploma or GED
3. Copy of your CPAT card issued between 9/1/2013 and 9/1/2014
4. Copy of a CSFM approved FF1 course Completion Certificate or verification of your membership as a ACFD Reserve for at least 24 months.
5. Copy of your valid EMT Card (EMT-1 or EMT-FS) or Paramedic license (EMT-P)
*** PLEASE NOTE:
You may be asked to produce the original document if your copied version is not easy to read. If staff reviewing the documents is unable to verify that you meet the announced requirements, or if documents are missing, you will not be allowed to interview and no reschedule of date/time will be allowed.
